We're Serwaa and Ama the founders of Study Twi.
With years of teaching experience, we’ve helped learners from all over the world become fluent in Twi.
Our students have gone from zero knowledge to fluency in just 10 weeks! From celebrities to working professionals to volunteers we've taught them all.
Yes, we were born and raised in the UK but our parents spoke Twi to us at home, so Twi became our default language alongside English. We often had to translate letters, write emails and make phone calls on our parents' behalf.
We grew up with a community of Ghanaians - learning and studying in Twi.
We went to Ghana often with our family, spending our summer holidays and sometimes months in Ghana at a time.
So it's safe to say all our lives we've been speaking Twi.
